Paula DT - Something Wonderful...

Shopping List

Versafine - Onyx Black and Smokey Gray
Black marker/alcohol pen

I really like using just one Distress Ink colour - its amazing how many shades you can create by how much ink you use or how much pressure you apply. You can still give your piece depth with one colour; for me, I seem to work darker around the edges and have an area that is lighter than everywhere else.

* I started by cutting a panel about 4.5" square which will be mounted on to a 6x6 card blank. I then took the Bubble Wrap stamp in my hand and part inked it and then proceeded to stamp randomly all over till there was no ink left on the stamp. You might feel it needs more work and re ink - its all down to individual taste on how much or little colour/stamping you want.
*I then used a bit of foam to pick up some ink and then went round all the edges of the panel.
*Mask the Pocket watch just leaving the centre and stamp it in the top right corner.
*Ink the Roman Numerals up and stamp along the bottom of the panel.
*Take the Honeycombe Template and use it along the left hand edge and the right hand corners.
*Ink up the Wildflower2 with Smokey Gray Versafine and stamp once, re ink and stamp again. Now ink up again, stamp on to copier paper then stamp again on to the panel (this is a 2nd generation print) Do this several times.
*Ink the wording in black and stamp. Go along the panel edges with a black marker then mount on to the card with foam pads.

Thank you for popping by today - will see you again next Sunday :)
